The accomplishement of a preliminary design basically targets at:  

 

             Checking the viability of the design with its construction, validating aspects such as the naval architecture, hydrodynamics and  

             behaviour in the sea.

             Request of the building license from the competent Administration or Flag.

             The elaboration of a technical specification where the principal equipment and systems of the craft are defined, with which any

             shipyard will be able to tender the cost of the construction.
